Description	The Upper Palatinate open-air museum of the Upper Palatinate district in Neusath-Perschen (Schwandorf district) offers an eventful journey through time into the life and work of people in the Upper Palatinate over the last 300 years. The approximately 50 buildings that have now been reconstructed show the building, living and economic activities in the regional and social diversity of all the regions of the Upper Palatinate. In addition to the historic buildings that invite visitors, the extensive exhibition, event and guided tour programme makes a trip to the Upper Palatinate Open Air Museum a special experience for all generations.
Relation to Low Carbon Timber	The museum shows an exhibition of old traditional wood craft techniques and wood products. In addition, different characteristic forest forms and their management are part of the museum. The museum provides information about wood from HIer and its importance for the climate and the environment.
